Owner - Courtney Taylor

Courtney graduated with a BA in Marketing and Communications from Jacksonville University in Florida in 1992.  She grew up with horses starting to ride at the age of 5.  She spent her youth in Pony Club, 4H, and Fox Hunting in Virginia.  Courtney was a Certified PATH Instructor (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship). After becoming certified and teaching at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding in Old Lyme CT, Courtney taught for three years at Manes & Motions in Middletown, CT.  Courtney also had a 15 year career as an analyst for Bank of America.  Courtney believes horses need to be horses and molded Treasure Hill Farm with the intention of it not only being a sanctuary for her clients but also for their horses.  Courtney lives on the property and has two of her own horses on the farm as well.

Barn Manager - Alyssa Welsch

Alyssa has dedicated 21 years of her life to expanding her horse knowledge.  She started her riding career at the young age of 4.  She started showing open shows at age 5 and continued to show and grow her riding skills.  She has experience in Western Pleasure/Equitation, Dressage, and Showmanship. Alyssa has a horse of her own at Treasure Hill Farm who she grew up alongside since the age of 10.  Training him from a colt taught her patience and understanding for every life stage of these amazing animals. Alyssa started at Treasure Hill Farm in 2019 and has worked diligently to take on the role of Barn Manager in 2024.

Maintenance - Bobby Taylor

Bobby takes care of everything mechanical, farm maintenance, and can fix pretty much anything that breaks around the farm.  His full-time job is Heavy Haul for a New Jersey crane company, so he is uniquely qualified to help with most anything around the farm.  He is married to Courtney and has caught the horse bug as well.  He has some favorite ponies around the barn for sure!

Support Staff

Treasure Hill Farm is very lucky to have support staff that have been at the farm most for several years.  They do so much more than your typical support staff.  They know the horses extremely well and are able to pick up on the slightest irregularity often catching things before they become serious.  They assist in providing medications and support when the horses are not feeling well as well as alerting management. Most of our support staff are horse owners themselves with several of them keeping their horses with us at Treasure Hill.
